I like to read and review books. This page contains two lists of books, one recommended by Desiring God, the ministry of John Piper, and the other recommended by Mortimer Adler in the 1972 edition of his book, How to Read a Book: The Classic Guide to Intelligent Reading. Both lists are sorted alphabetically by the last name of the author (primarily so that multiple books by the same author will appear together). Books with a checkmark next to them have been read. Books with an open book next to them are currently being read. Books I have reviewed here on my blog are hyperlinked.
